4 Tips to Fund Your Education

Have you found your perfect school, but are unsure how to get there?

1. Let Your Interests Shine – Don’t be shy to tell the scholarship committee about all the great things you have done. Share your interests, aspirations, and what makes you unique.

2. Use Your Resources – Use scholarship search engines and your advisers (especially once you get to Purdue!) to find out about new scholarship opportunities. Find more information here!

3. Be Persistent – Many students stop applying for scholarships once they start college, but there are so many opportunities once you get to Purdue to help fund your studies!

4. Apply Anyway – Some scholarships have fairly specific qualifications. Take these as items of interest, not requirements. An applicant needn’t meet all the criteria to be considered a strong candidate for a scholarship.

The scholarship process can seem daunting, but the hard work is worth it when you are given the opportunity to attend college and pursue a degree you love.
