Purdue’s Fall 2017 semester just began, so here are some reminders to help start the school year off at your best!
It’s true that students should study at least two hours for every hour they’re in class, so being a student is like having a full-time job. Studying between classes and keeping a regular schedule will help you stay on track and manage your time efficiently.
Reach Out
Don’t be afraid to say hello to and exchange numbers with peers in your classes. They can be a great resource for study groups. Teamwork makes the dream work.
Use a Planner
Keep track of everything you need to know from your class’s syllabi, lectures, and course pages so you take care of everything your professor asks you to do at the beginning.
Stay Healthy
Remember to eat breakfast, stay active, and sleep to take care of yourself so that you can find success in your academics.
Attend Callouts
It’s so important to get involved on campus, and there are so many great organizations! (Including the Women in Engineering Program WE Link Program!)6.
Purdue’s Women in Engineering Program WE Link is thrilled for everyone to JUMP into the Fall 2017 semester! |
Get Excited
Being a boilermaker is such an amazing experience, and you will learn so much this year.
